Whale watching season is almost here! Every winter between January and March, thousands of North Atlantic Humpback Whales visit the Samana Bay to breed their calves and mate in the warm Caribbean waters. The Dominican Republic has one of the largest Humpback Sanctuaries, which makes for excellent whale watching.
